The annual BrendoFest music and fundraising festival is a celebration of Brendan Regan's life, spirit and love of music. Brendan was taken from us all too early after his courageous battle with Lymphoma.

 

Brendan, along with his brother Joe and sister Sheila, grew up during the crazy 70's & 80's in Madison under the loving-care of their parents, Eileen & Joe. Brendan loved fishing and being out on the Sound. He was a volunteer fireman during high school years. It was also during this time that music became a real passion. His eclectic record collection grew sizable (mostly punk rock) and, along with his group of friends, loved seeing live shows, especially Ramones. Following his graduation from high school he immediately went to work full-time in the family business, Regan Scrap Metal, happily running the day-to-day activities. Brendan found his love and life-partner in Beth. They were married and soon brought into the world their two beautiful children, Nicholas & Kaitlyn. As a family they made their home in Guilford and enjoyed many vacations on their beloved Martha's Vineyard.

A formal non profit, 501c3 has been established in his name. Monies raised by our festival fund a scholarship to be awarded every spring by the Daniel Hand High School, Brendan's alma-mater. The scholarship will go to a student looking to further their education and who has lost a loved one or been affected by Leukemia and/or Lymphoma. 

Our first scholarship award was made on June 6, 2019. We have been able to make this award every year since then through proceeds generated from our party and the very generous donations to our cause made by awesome people.

Our annual party features live music, friends and family. We gather to celebrate Brendan, renew our friendships and promote our cause. Please join us!
